We trace our roots back to 1910 as the job shop for the daily paper in Richmond, California. In 1924, the print shop was incorporated as a separate business with Charles Brombacher as manager and co-owner. In 1944, the firm was changed to Independent Printing Company and in 1952 ownership went fully to Kurt's father, Elton Brombacher.  Today, IPCO remains a family-owned enterprise, dedicated to providing high quality printing services to a national client list. From its headquarters in Martinez, California and plant in Ashland, Oregon, IPCO is delivering a wide variety of printing from annual reports to sophisticated packaging and point-of-sale materials.

Owner Kurt Brombacher and his daughter Lisa Olson are the third and fourth generations to run IPCO.
The company was founded by Kurt's grandfather, Charles Brombacher.

Sales representatives John Tullis and Alan Pittman review a proof before it is sent to the customer.
